About Tripping The Light

According to noecho.net "Hello Phones is a band previously known for their synth-driven songwriting. On their forthcoming Tripping the Light EP and visual album, the NYC-based combo mine from the classic new wave and punk records of their youths. The result is a 3-song collection of short and catchy songs that have the spirit of an old punk 7".

Recorded an mixed by Sam Thoro of Thorotracks fame, Tripping the Light captures the raw influences of the band and is accompanied by a video for all three songs together as one.  The songs go from one to another like a three song E.P. should, and the energy
